For the last week or two, it has become evident that America is finally waking up. Despite that, it is evident that we have some difficult obstacles to overcome. Can we accomplish the tasks before us?

Before we can answer that, we must first know where to start and who our adversaries are, and what their goals are.

The Battlefield of Ideas has moved across into realm of Cyberspace. The Obama Campaign was certainly ready to engage our generation on the Internet, as is the Congress. Are they ready for Conservatives like Sarah Palin and voices like Beck, O'Reilly, Hannity and Rush to meet them there? More importantly, are they ready for the blogosphere, who has a vision of their own for the future? The Internet is the domain of those of us who heralded the Information Age. Are we, Generation X, prepared to defend it and the country in order to stop the spread of corruption?

Finally, a media outlet breaks news of a GOP response to the massive travesty of Universal Health Care, the sad 1,990 page government takeover that doesn't cover more than 2% of the people without health insurance that want it. Surprisingly, the GOP managed to trim 18 pages from their original effort with HR 3400. Their new bill weighs in at an austere 230 pages, and proves that we can do more with less.
